HMD Global Updates Budget Portfolio with Nokia C10 and C20

The C-series is HMD Global’s ultra-budget line of phones, and it updates it for 2021 with the Nokia C10 and C20. Both phones effectively replace the Nokia 1 series as the brand’s ultra-budget, Android Go-powered devices.

Nokia C10 specs

  • Unisoc Sc7331e processor
  • 1GB/2GB RAM
  • 16GB/32GB storage
  • 6.517-inch IPS LCD, HD+
  • 5-megapixel f/2.2 rear camera
  • 5-megapixel f/2.2 selfie camera
  • 4G
  • WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2
  • Removable 3000mAh battery
  • 5w charging
  • Android 11 Go

Both phones are one of the few ultra-budget offerings that come with a Go version of Android 11–as of this writing, there are no Android Go phones yet that have the latest Android version. Both come with two 5-megapixel cameras: one for selfies, and one for regular photos. You also get a large 6.517-inch HD+ display, along with a removable (yes, you read that right) 3000mAh battery that allows you for a quick swap. Being an ultra-budget phone, however, you are stuck with an antiquated MicroUSB port and 5w charging.

Both the Nokia C10 and C20 are very identical save for the processor: the Nokia C10 gets a quad-core processor while the Nokia C20 amps it up with an octa-core processor. Just like any HMD Global device, what makes the new Nokia C-series stand out is that they are set to receive two major Android updates–a feat that practically no phone brand can match right now especially for the ultra-budget segment.

Other common features include FM radio, face unlock, LED flash for both cameras, and MicroSD card expansion.

Nokia C10 and C20 Availability
