HONOR 50 Series Specs Revealed Ahead of Launch

June 16 is an anticipated day, as HONOR is set to launch its 50 series flagship phones. While we initially knew that there will be two models, new leaks reveal the specs of three HONOR 50 phones.

HONOR 50 SE

The entry-level offering is the HONOR 50 SE, which sports a 6.78-inch Full HD+ LCD display and is powered by a Dimensity 900 processor. It is said to have a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 100-megapixel f/1.9 main camera, 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle, and 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro camera. For the battery, the HONOR 50 SE will have a 4000mAh battery that is paired with 66w wired charging.

Moving on to the vanilla HONOR 50, this model will have a 6.57-inch OLED display with a cenrtally-placed punch-hole for a 32-megapixel f/2.2 selfie snapper, Snapdragon 778 processor, and a quad rear camera setup: 108-megapixel f/1.9 main camera, 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, and a pair of 2-megapixel cameras. It will have a bigger battery at 4300mAh, and also supports 66w wired charging.

The top-end Pro model, on the other hand, will have a bigger 6.72-inch OLED panel with a 120hz refresh rate and a pill-shaped punch-hole that houses an additional 12-megapixel selfie snapper. While it gets a smaller 4000mAh battery, the HONOR 50 Pro supports 100w wired charging. Like the vanilla model, the HONOR 50 Pro will also be powered by a Snapdragon 778G processor.

As for colors, the HONOR 50 Pro will come in four colors, with the silver one having a special glittery finish and the green, copper, and black colors having a frosted finish.

The leaked specs of the HONOR 50 series reveals that it is going to be a promising lineup for the now-independent brand, and we are eagerly waiting to confirm if these phones will indeed come with Google mobile services—or if there are other surprises in store.
