One of them is the supersized version
Little is known about the Honor 8X, save for a visit to TENAA. While there are rumors that it will be a huge phone, it turns out the 7.12-inch model is one of two variants.
The latest teaser reveals that there will be a regular Honor 8X and an Honor 8X Max, with the latter presumed to have a bigger display. As for the specs, a Weibo post revealed the specs on the Honor 8X Max. These include a Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB RAM, a display with a 1080 x 2244 resolution, a 4900mAh battery, 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel rear cameras (possibly the same setup found on the Honor Play), and an 8-megapixel front camera.
That being said, it is possible that the regular Honor 8X is the one powered by a Snapdragon 636 processor. Rumors aside, both phones are expected to launch in China on September 5.
