The HONOR Band 6 is Less of a Fitness Tracker and more of a Smartwatch

Far, far different from the HONOR Band 5

While we are used to mostly iterative upgrades when it comes to fitness tracker, the HONOR Band 6 is way different from its predecessor. Instead of looking like your usual fitness tracker, the HONOR Band 6 looks more like a smartwatch with its 1.47-inch AMOLED panel with a 194 x 368 resolution, resulting in a thicker width for the watch band. The display has a plethora of watch faces to choose from for further personalization.

While the dimensions make it technically a smartwatch, the Band 6 is a fitness tracker thru and thru with features like heart rate tracking, blood oxygen monitoring, and sleep tracking, and women’s health management, along with activity tracking for 10 different sports with automatic detection and is 50m water resistance. The Band 6 also has music playback controls and can be used for sending alerts when your phone goes missing.

The Band 6 is priced at CNY 249 for the non-NFC version and CNY 289 for the NFC version and will be available in China on November 11.
