As a successor to last year’s Pad 9, HONOR has made the Pad 10 official in Malaysia with substantial upgrades. To start things off, the Pad 10 now uses a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, which offers better performance compared to the Pad 9’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. It comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and the one announced in Malaysia only has WiFi connectivity.
You still get the same six-speaker system and 12.1-inch 120hz IPS display with a 2560×1600 resolution as the Pad 9, but the Pad 10 bumps up the battery to 10100mAh that also supports 35w charging. What’s impressive is that the Pad 10 is thinner and lighter than the Pad 9, which makes us speculate that it might be using silicon-carbon battery tech.
Cameras remain the same 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera, with the rear shooter capable of shooting 4K video. The Pad 10 comes with MagicOS 9.0 out of the box, and HONOR claims that it is “AI-optimized” for productivity with feaures that include AI Writing tools, HONOR notes with formula writing, and more.
The HONOR Pad 10 is priced at RM 1,499(~Php 20k) in Malaysia, and we expect it to be made available in the Philippines soon.
