Aside from the global availability of the HONOR 90, the brand also announced its latest tablet with the Pad X9. Also known as the Pad X8 Pro in China, the Pad X9 is a multimedia-centric tablet with an 11.5-inch 2K IPS display that has a 120hz refresh rate and symmetrical bezels, along with a six-speaker system that’s meant to create a 360-degree-like audio experience.
Powering the Pad X9 is a Snapdragon 685 processor–which is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 680. It is paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, and the variant available in Europe only has WiFi (no LTE connectivity). It has an aluminum unibody chassis and packs a 7250mAh battery. HONOR did not mention charging speeds, but we presume that the Pad X9 supports 22.5w charging.
Other features of the Pad X9 include 5-megapixel cameras for both the front and back, 6.9mm overall thickness, Android 13-based MagicOS 7.1 out of the box, and HONOR Connect for multi-screen collaboration with other HONOR devices.
The Pad X9 is priced at 180 Pounds(~Php 13k) in the UK, where each purchase comes with a pair of Earbuds X5. We don’t know if the Pad X9 is coming to the Philippines–but there’s a possibility of a local release since we got the Pad 8 late last year.
