As part of expanding its presence, HONOR has announced a strategic partnership with Porsche Design to design devices “that combine exceptional design and advanced technology”. With this collab, HONOR is expected to launch ultra-premium phones that offer a sophisticated and luxurious experience to consumers.

This long-term collaboration between HONOR and Porsche Design opens exciting new opportunities to bolster our growth in markets around the world,” HONOR CEO George Zhao said.

HONOR and Porsche Design are expected to unveil their first collab device in January 2024, and the press release revealed sketches of a device that we presume might be the Porsche Design Edition of the upcoming Magic6. 

According to recent rumors, the Magic6 series is expected to be a significant upgrade over the Magic5 series with its use of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and a large 5800mAh battery that supports 66w wired charging. The Magic6 series is said to have three 50-megapixel sensors for its rear camera setup: the main camera has variable aperture and OIS, while the other two are an ultra-wide camera and a periscope camera. Being a flagship device, the Magic6 series is expected to have an IP68 rating.
