The HONOR Power has a Whopping 8000mAh Battery

What’s your definition of a phone with a big battery? We already have phone that exceed 6000mAh in the Philippines, but HONOR is taking things further with a gigantic 8000mAh battery in its new Power phone. What impressive is that the Power manages to pack an 8000mAh cell at a chassis that’s less than 8mm thick. In fact, HONOR claims that the Power’s battery capacity is bigger than what the 11-inch iPad Air M3 has inside–thanks to a  power density of 821Wh/L made possible with silicon-carbon tech.

HONOR claims that with an 8000mAh battery, the Power can last up to 25 hours of video playback and up to 14 hours of gaming. Speaking of gaming, you get a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor inside–which is a decent choice–along with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Charging speeds are at 66w, which is relatively fast to top up that huge battery inside.

You get a micro quad-curved 120hz OLED display with a 1.5k resolution and 4000nits peak brightness, along with a pill-shaped punch-hole that houses a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. The rear cameras are average for a midrange device with a 50-megapixel main shooter with OIS and a 5-megapixel ultrawide camera. At the very least, the main camera can shoot 4K video.

You get HONOR’s in-house C1+ chip for better RF connectivity, along with being waterproof–though HONOR did not disclose the IP rating.

The HONOR Power starts at CNY 1999(~Php 16k) for the 8GB/256GB model and goes up to CNY 2499(Php 20k) for the 12GB/512GB model.
