Following its launch of the 200 series, HONOR now focuses on the entry-level X series and confirms that the X6b is coming soon to the Philippines. The budget phone will launch exclusively on Shopee Super Shopping Day this September 9.
Just like the X9b, HONOR touts the durability of the X6b, with its claim to fame being its 5-star drop resistance quality as certified by SGS. Despite being a budget phone, the X6b touts a 6.56-inch 90hz TFT display with 780nits peak brightness and HONOR’s Magic Capsule feature for viewing essential information. You also get Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0 out of the box as well.
Other key highlights of the X6b include a large 5200mAh battery that supports 35w charging, 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and a Helio G85 processor–the latter a big upgrade from last year’s X6a.
“We are not stopping until we provide all the needs of every Filipino when it comes to smartphones. That said, we are unveiling another powerful smartphone this September and HONOR fans, tech enthusiasts, and alike should watch out,” said HONOR Philippines Vice President Stephen Cheng.
Expect to know more about the official pricing and availability of the HONOR X6b in the Philippines in the coming days, so stay tuned.
