After it was teased last week, HONOR Philippines confirms that their next phone will be the entry-level X7c, which is set to launch on November 6.
Touted as an “All-Angle, Water Resistant” phone, the X7c boasts an IP64 rating, which is higher than the usual IP53/54 rating offered on budget phones. This means that the X7c has better protection against dust and water splashes, making you worry less about using the phone against the elements.
“We have been known for our durable smartphones with viral drop and smash tests. Now, we are making noise with our water-resistant smartphone,” HONOR Vice President Stephen Cheng said.
Aside from boasting an IP64 rating, the X7c also has a sizeable 6000mAgh battery that HONOR claims can last you up to 28.5 hours of online streaming or up to 21.5 hours of YouTube video playback.
You also get a generous 256GB internal storage, along with 8GB RAM for all your multitasking needs and 35w fast charging to quickly top up the battery. Other notable features include stereo speakers, MagicOS 8.0 out of the box, and a 108-megapixel main camera.
HONOR will reveal the official pricing and availability of the X7c on November 6, so stay tuned for more details.
