As a follow-up to last month’s launch of the X9b, HONOR unveiled the X8b as a stylish budget mid-range phone with a unique capsule-shaped punch-hole in the middle. The HONOR X8b arrives in the Philippines with a Php 13k price tag, which is Php 2k more expensive than last year’s X8a.

For that price premium, the X8b gets you a 90hz AMOLED display that’s brighter and more vibrant than the X8a’s IPS panel, a slimmer bottom bezel, and upgraded front and rear cameras. The selfie camera is now a high-resolution 50-megapixel shooter that has an accompanying LED flash, while the rear camera is the same 108-megapixel ISOCELL HM6 sensor found on the X9b.

The X8b also gets a stylish vegan leather option with the Glamorous Green colorway, along with a faster 35w wired charging speed for its 4500mAh battery and a class-leading 512GB internal storage–which is one of the biggest on a budget mid-range device.Â
The HONOR X8b has an official price of Php 12,990Â and is available in Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. Those who will pre-order until February 23 will get the HONOR Choice X5 Earbuds with their purchase.
