HONOR adds a new budget midrange offering to its portfolio with the X8c, which has a price of Php 14k in the Philippines.
As a successor to last year’s X8b, the X8c gets a better AMOLED display that has a 120hz refresh rate, 2800nits peak brightness, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It is a smidge thicker, but you get an IP64 rating, a 1.8 meter drop resistance, and a bigger 5000mAh battery. Even with those differences, you still get a vegan leather back for the green colorway–sporting a different pattern this time.
The RAM and storage configuration is the same at 8GB and 512GB respectively, but the processor gets a slight upgrade to a Snapdragon 685. As for the cameras, HONOR chose to ditch the filler camera for adding OIS on the main camera, making the X8c more suitable for shooting videos than its predecessor. On top of that, it is one of the first HONOR phones in the Philippines to have Android 15-based MagicOS 9 out of the box.
The HONOR X8c has an official price of Php 13,999 and is available for pre-order at any HONOR Official Stores, Shopee, TikTok, and Lazada. Those who will pre-order will get a Bluetooth speaker with their purchase.
