As we are just starting off 2023, HONOR is hot on its heels with its first phone for the year in the Philippines with the X9a 5G.
Despite being a mid-range device, the X9a 5G aims to redefine the segment by offering a premium curved 120hz OLED screen that’s capable of supporting 10-bit color–features that you’ll rarely see in the segment. It’s a 5G-ready device with its use of a Snapdragon 695 processor and packs a large 5100mAh battery inside its slim body.
Aside from those niceties, the X9a brings in the same circular camera layout found on the brand’s flagship Magic series, with one of the three cameras housing a 64-megapixel sensor.
Despite having that gorgeous curved AMOLED display, HONOR brags that the X9a 5G is tough as nails–it can sustain drops of up to 5 feet high without worries about the display breaking. We tested this claim–and it looks like HONOR lives up to its promise. Check out our video below:
