HONOR kicks off 2024 with the arrival of the X9b 5G in the Philippines. Having the same price as last year’s X9a when it launched in the Philippines, the HONOR X9b gets a number of substantial upgrades to give it better value for money.

The biggest upgrade on the X9b 5G is its use of a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, which offers better performance over the X9a 5G’s Snapdragon 695 and also allows for 4K video recording. You also get more RAM at 12GB, and HONOR is using the faster LPDDR5 variety for better responsiveness for multitasking.
Retaining the same looks as last year’s X9a 5G, the X9b 5G now has a Sunrise Orange colorway that uses vegan leather, along with an IP54 rating. The tough curved AMOLED display is brighter and boasts a 1.5k resolution, while the main camera is now a 108-megapixel shooter that’s better than the X9a 5G’s 64-megapixel snapper and can do 3x in-sensor digital zoom.
The HONOR X9b 5G has an official price of Php 16,999Â in the Philippines, and will be available in Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. Those who will pre-order the X9b 5G until January 19 will get a HONOR Gift Box and a pair of Choice X5 TWS Earbuds.
