While we know that the HONOR X9c will arrive in the Philippines in January, one of our concerns is how much will it be. Previously, HONOR managed to keep the X9a and X9b at under Php 17,000, making its midrange offerings a great deal beyond their durability claims. We will not be surprised if the X9c will get a price hike, and here’s what we think will be its possible price once it lands in the Philippines.

We spotted the HONOR X9c in Singapore with an official price of SGD 449 for the 12GB/256GB model. When converted, it translates to around Php 20,000, which is lower than the SRP in Malaysia. It’s also worth noting that only the 12GB/256GB variant is offered in Singapore, so it might be the same in the Philippines as well—just like with the X9b.

That being said, we’re confident that the X9c will not be priced over Php 20,000 when it arrives in the Philippines, and while that’s a hike from its two predecessors, you are getting good upgrades that include improved durability, an IP65 rating, a significantly bigger 6600mAh battery with 66w charging, a brighter 120hz curved AMOLED display, and OIS on the main camera.
