HTC’s making a smaller version of the One M8!
The trend of making smaller, less capable flagship smartphones is definitely alive and kicking, as evidenced by the recent leak from everybody’s favorite tipster, @evleaks. This time around, it’s Taiwanese company HTC giving their One M8 the mini treatment, with the resulting device dubbed (quite unsurprisingly) the One Mini 2. While it’s definitely the spitting image of the bigger One M8, several things have changed, with the obvious one being the conspicuous absence of the second camera on the Mini 2. That opens up the possibility that the One Mini 2 may use a traditional camera sensor rather than the ultra-pixel one that’s been utilized by the company for their previous flagships.
The One Mini 2 will allegedly ship with a 4.5-inch HD display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor running at 1.4GHz, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage plus a 13-megapixel camera. No word yet when this particular device will launch, but we’ll let you all  know once we get the official word.
