HTC’s first 18:9 display smartphone is coming real soon
A few weeks back, there have been rumors about HTC releasing a near-bezel less version of the U11 with the U11 Plus. Since Google’s acquisition of HTC’s mobile division, little is known about the upcoming flagship until it was spotted on GeekBench:
According to GeekBench, the HTC U11 Plus, which is codenamed HTC 2Q4D1, will be equipped with a Snapdragon 835 Processor, along with 4GB of RAM. The specs make is similar with the U11, with the main difference being the U11 Plus shipping with Android Oreo out of the box.
Other rumored specs for the U11 Plus include a 5.99-inch Quad HD + 18:9 display, a 12-megapixel f/1.7 rear camera with optical stabilization and Ultraspeed autofocus, and an 8-megapixel front camera.
According to a supposed media invite, the U11 Plus is slated to launch in Taipei on November 2.
