Huawei is putting their money where their mouth is
Huawei’s placement in the US government’s Entity List has made life difficult for the brand to sell smartphones, thanks to the negative press surrounding the news. There’s a lot of falsehoods circulating around social media spouted by people who have no idea what they are talking about, which is further heightening fears about buying Huawei’s products in the marketplace.
One of the biggest falsehoods circulating is that Huawei phones will lose access to Google’s services come August, which is obviously not true. To combat this, Huawei’s retail partners’ have implemented a special warranty for phones included in the list below.
If the apps from Google don’t work on the phones below Huawei’s retail partners will be refunding customers of their purchase. Take note that there are certain rules and conditions to the special refund, namely you’ll have to present your proof of purchase (receipt) and along with the requirement that your phone needs to be bought from June 15, 2019, to Aug 31, 2019.
