Huawei announces its latest TWS earbuds in China with the FreeBuds 4i. A successor to last year’s FreeBuds 3i, the FreeBuds 4i introduces improvements like a longer 10 hours continuous playback time (7.5 hours with ANC on) and improved active noise cancellation that now includes a transparency mode. Huawei tweaked the design of the FreeBuds 4i, making them look like a slimmer and sleeker version of the FreeBuds Pro thanks to its 3D bionic design.
The FreeBuds 4i comes with dual microphones, a windproof structure, and 10mm dynamic drivers with a polymer composite diaphragm to give emphasis on vocals. There are also wear detection sensors that automatically pauses music the moment you take them off your ears.
Like the FreeBuds 3, the FreeBuds 4i come with a circular charging case with a USB-C port at the bottom. The support fast charging, as a 10-minute top up will give you up to 4 hours of playback. It also employs the same touch controls found on the FreeBuds 3, where taps will let you play/pause a song or answer/end calls. Those controls can be programmed via Huawei’s AI Life App.
Aside from Honey Red, the FreeBuds 4i will also be available in Ceramic White and Carbon Crystal Black.
Huawei Freebuds 4i Price Philippines
While there is no official price yet for the FreeBuds 4i in the Philippines, they are priced at RMB 499 when they go on sale starting March 8 in China. That translates to around Php 3.8k when converted, which is more affordable than the Php 5990 SRP of the FreeBuds 3i. Huawei will most likely bring them to our shores, so it is better to wait for them to go official instead of purchasing them through the grey market.
Would you consider the FreeBuds 4i as your next budget pair of True Wireless Earbuds?
