Check out Huawei’s newest kick-ass flagship
Huawei has officially unveiled their latest flagship for their Honor lineup, the Honor 6 Plus. The Honor 6 Plus packs a dual-camera setup (that we’ll get into later), which is similar to the one on HTC’s One M8.
Huawei Honor 6 Plus
- 1.8GHz octa-core Kirin 925 processor
- 2GB/3GB of RAM

- 5-megapixel front camera
- Dual-SIM, dual LTE

- 3600mAh battery

The Honor 6 Plus is equipped with the company’s newest Kirin 925 octa-core processor, paired with 3GB of RAM. It’s bigger than the company’s Honor 6 smarthpone, coming in at 5.5-inches. And although Huawei has drawn flak over the device’s name and comparing the device to Apple, the Honor 6 Plus is smaller than Apple’s offering, giving users a 78.2% screen to body ratio compared to 71.1% on the iPhone 6 Plus. Huawei is also saying that the screen on the Honor 6 Plus is better and brighter compared to the iPhone 6 Plus because of the materials used in the display.
The body of the Honor 6 Plus uses a tough metal alloy, which can withstand being hit by a metal BB. The metal body is also capable of better heat dissipation because of the materials used in construction.
The most unique feature in the Honor 6 Plus is the dual-camera setup. With this setup, users can change the aperture of the camera and the focus point. The camera can also combine image information of both cameras which results in a higher resolution photo.
As far as pricing is concerned, the Honor 6 Plus starts at RMB 1999, which is Php 14400.
