Huawei Introduces Gal Gadot as its “Chief Experience Officer”

Isn’t that WONDERful?

Aside from Ms. Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Huawei has enlisted another Ms. Universe candidate as its newest endorser. The Wonder Woman (pun intended) in question is none other than Gal Gadot.

You read that right: The former Ms. Universe Israel 2004 candidate was tapped by the Chinese company to be its “Chief Experience Officer”, as it strengthens its presence in the United States. Selecting Gadot was sensible, as the Israeli actress has been using Huawei phones since the P8.

The major endorsement came at a time where Huawei wants to market theMate 10 Pro in the United States, where Apple and Samsung devices dominate the market.  Huawei hopes that through its “New Era of Connectivity”, it will capture one of the biggest smartphone audiences in the world.

It’s not a big deal even if AT&T decided to back out of their partnership at the last minute. Instead, Huawei will be selling the Mate 10 Pro for $799 (~Php 40.3k) via retailers like Best Buy, Amazon, Microsoft, Newegg, and B&H Photo. Pre-orders for the Mate 10 Pro in the US will happen from February 4 to 17, with general availability on February 18. In addition, Huawei will be selling the premium Mate 10 Porsche Design for $1,225 (~Php 61.7k).
