Huawei Launches Mid-range MateBook D 16 In The Philippines

Along with its high-end MateBook 16s, Huawei also launched and announced the price of the more mid-range MateBook D 16 for the Philippines during its Smart Office Launch in Thailand today. The MateBook D16 is meant for users who want a big-screen experience without shelling out the same money for the more premium MateBook 16s.

The MateBook D 16 might not look flashy or eye-catching but it’s paired with a solid aluminum chassis that makes it durable enough for both the classroom and the boardroom.

Like its more expensive brother the MateBook 16s, the MateBook D 16 has a large, 16-inch display that has full HD resolution, 100% sRGB gamut color coverage, and 300-nit peak brightness.

Because of the size of the chassis, the MateBook D 16 is able to accommodate a full-size QWERTY keyboard with a number pad as well as a large glass trackpad, and a webcam that’s inserted in the bezel instead of the brand’s traditional keyboard placement.

The MateBook D 16 will be available in two versions: a 12th generation Core i7 variant and a Core i5 variant. Both variants will have 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage, along with a copy of Microsoft Office Home and Student 2021 suite.

Huawei MateBook D 16 Price Philippines

The Huawei MateBook D 16 will have a price of Php 70,999 for the Core i7 version, while the Core i5 version will be priced at Php 55,999 when pre-orders start on July 29. Just like its more expensive brother, the MateBook D 16 will come with a monitor freebie with every purchase in the form of the MateView SE if you pre-order the device.
