A new affordable tablet?
Following the unveiling of its flagship MatePad Pro last year, Huawei is set to launch an entry-level model with the MatePad T. Revealed by EVLeaks through his Patreon page, the MatePad T does bear resemblance to the MediaPad M5 Lite with its 8-inch display and thick top and bottom bezels. The differences between the two include a relocated front camera for the MatePad T, the absence of Huawei branding on the bottom bezel, and a more streamlined back panel.
The MatePad T was recently spotted at a Wi-Fi Alliance listing, confirming specs that include dual-band WiFi, an unknown MT6631, and Android 10-based EMUI 10 out of the box.
There’s no word about its other specs and launch date as of this writing.
