Huawei nova Y61: Entry-Level Phone with 50-Megapixel Main Camera

It has only been two months since Huawei announced the nova Y60, and it seems that there’s a follow-up model with the nova Y61. While it looks similar to its predecessor, the nova Y61 is slightly smaller with its 6.52-inch IPS display. It does get a upgraded 50-megapixel main camera, but loses the ultra-wide-angle camera and settles for a macro camera.

The nova Y61 has a flat frame and what appears to be a matte finish for its polycarbonate back panel. It also comes with a 5000mAh battery that supports 22.5w wired charging. The nova Y61 is powered by an octa-core processor, and we presume that they’re referring to the Helio P35. It comes with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage–the latter being expandable via MicroSD. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner
