Huawei silently announced the arrival of a new budget mid-range phone in the Philippines with the nova Y91, which stands out for offering a huge 7000mAh battery inside it. Paired with a power-efficient Snapdragon 680 processor, the nova Y91 can last for as long as 3 days if you really want to stretch its battery life. Charging that huge battery is done using Huawei’s 22.5w charging solution.
Aside from the large battery, the nova Y91 has a large 6.95-inch LCD display that has a 90hz refresh rate, Full HD+ resolution, and a responsive 270hz touch response rate. It has a notch for an 8-megapixel camera. Going to the back, the nova Y91’s Mate 50 Pro-like camera module houses two cameras and an LED flash. Its dual rear camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
Other features of the nova Y91 include 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and EMUI 13 out of the box. Despite the huge battery, Huawei managed to keep the nova Y91 at just under 9mm thin and with a weight of 214 grams.
