Huawei expands its mid-range MateBook 14 2021 line in the Philippines with an AMD Ryzen 5-powered variant. This particular version uses a Ryzen 5-4600H processor, which is the same chip that powered the 2020 version. It comes with 8GB DDR RAM and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage.
To recap, the Ryzen 5-4600H has eight Zen 2 cores, 6-core Radeon Vega integrated graphics, and a higher 45w TDP ceiling thanks to its -H designation.
Like the 2020 version, the MateBook 14 sports a 14-inch FullView display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, a 2K resolution, and multi-touch support for optimal multi-tasking. It also comes with slim bezels that give it an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 90%. Keeping the lights on is a 56wHr battery that supports Huawei’s 65w SuperCharge charging, which is the same charging solution for some of Huawei’s phones.
Other key features include a fingerprint scanner embedded on the power button, Huawei-exclusive features like Multi-Screen Collaboration and Huawei Share, and a port selection that includes two USB A 3.2 ports, HDMI port, USB-C port, and a headphone jack.

The MateBook 14 2021 will be offered in both AMD Ryzen 5 and Intel Core i5 variants, with both of them having 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. the Ryzen 5-4600H version is priced at Php 50,999, while the Core i5-1135G7 version is priced at Php 59,999. Both the AMD and Intel version come bundled with a Wifi AX3 router until October 3 as part of Huawei’s back-to-school promo.
