Kirin 970-powered phones get first dibs
Roughly two weeks after opening the EMUI 9 Beta program, Huawei announced that it will be officially rolling out the Android Pie-powered build starting November 10.
Kirin 970-powered devices, which include the P20, P20 Pro, Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, Porsche Design Mate RS, Mate 10 Porsche Design, Honor Play, Honor 10, and Honor View 10 will be among the first phones to receive it.
EMUI 9.0 improves on system management, offering better app response. The new build introduces GPU Turbo 2.0 and key Android Pie features such as Adaptive battery, Adaptive display, and Digital Wellbeing.
