Following a global launch earlier this month, Huawei Philippines has revealed the official price of the MateBook 14s, along with its pre-order promo.
As an update to the MateBook 14, the MateBook 14s now features a 90hz refresh rate for its 14.2-inch touchscreen display, along with either a Core i5-11300H or Core i7-11370H processor. Both chips come with Iris Xe graphics and can have as much as 16GB RAM and 1TB storage for the Core i7 variant (the Core i5 comes with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage).
Other features include a 4-speaker system, an integrated fingerprint scanner on the power button, decent port selection (2x USB-C, 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, HDMI, headphone jack), and Windows 10 out of the box. The MateBook 14s is eligible for an upgrade to Windows 11, and has deep integration with the Huawei ecosystem, where connecting any Huawei products via Bluetooth is made fast and convenient.
Aside from that, the MateBook 14s can connect to a MateView monitor wirelessly, and can do the same for any device that has HarmonyOS or EMUI. The latter allows for screen sharing and seamless file transfer between the two devices. The MateBook 14s’ integration with HarmonyOS also gives it the ability to run Android and AppGallery apps through the laptop itself.
