Huawei Rolls Out Android Pie and EMUI 9.0 to the Mate 10 and P20 Series

Just in time for Christmas!

Huawei has a nice Christmas present to all users of the Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, P20, and P20 Pro: the Chinese brand has announced that they are rolling out Android Pie and EMUI 9 to their late 2017 and early 2018 flagship devices.

To get the update, you will need the latest version of HiCare (the current version is 8.02.820). Once you have the latest version, make sure to log in and request for the update.

In case you don’t receive any software update notification, just be patient as Huawei is doing its best effort in rolling out the update as soon as possible.

  1. That’s why I’m leaving Samsung. Probably for good. Only ever got ONE system update on my Galaxy Note. Same with my S3 before that. Samsung doesn’t care about updates; they rather have you buy the latest version of their overpriced Galaxy series. It’s time people start realising that the future isn’t in South Korea
