Huawei to Launch Nova 7 Series on April 23

At least two variants to be powered by a Kirin 985 processor

Huawei is set to update its mid-range Nova line with the Nova 7 series. Recently, a post on Weibo confirmed the April 23 launch date in China, along with the appearance of the phone.

Based on teaser posters, the upcoming Nova 7 series will have a tall, rectangular camera module that will hold four cameras one of them being a periscope module that can do up to 50x digital zoom. For the first time, the Nova 7 series will adopt a curved display and possibly an in-display fingerprint scanner. Like the Nova 6, the Nova 7 will have a pill-shaped cutout to house two front cameras.

The Nova 7 SE, Nova 7, and Nova 7 Pro are rumored to be powered by Kirin 820, Kirin 985, and Kirin 990 processors respectively, with the Nova 7 and Nova 7 Pro to support 40w wired charging.
