Huawei has confirmed that the Watch Ultimate will have a Php 40k price in the Philippines and is set to be available soon. Aimed to compete against Apple’s Watch Ultra, the Watch Ultimate is made for professionals who demand the utmost durability in a smartwatch.
Since durability is the name of the game, the Watch Ultimate’s body is made from zirconium: a highly-durable metal that can withstand extreme heat, forces, shocks, and other things. Huawei claims that the Watch Ultimate’s body is corrosion resistant making it ideal for use in saltwater where you’re not really recommended to bring your other devices. To further emphasize its durability, the Watch Ultimate is rated for up to 110 meters for up to 24 hours.
Protecting the 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display is a sapphire crystal that’s 2.35mm thick, and keeping it going is a 530mAh battery that’s rated for up to 8 days of active use and for as much as 14 days. Making the Watch Ultimate unique is that you can charge it wirelessly using any Qi wireless charger. Other features of the Watch Ultimate include a multifunctional rotating crown, function buttons, an array of sensors for heart rate, blood oxygen measurements, and ECG, and an Expedition Mode that gives your accurate GPS positioning.
