Huawei’s Watch 2 Comes With LTE Connectivity And Android Wear 2.0

Meet the New Huawei Watch 2

Huawei burst onto the smartwatch scene with their original Watch, the company’s first ever Android Wear-powered smartwatch. Two years after the company is finally announcing the follow-up phone, unimaginably dubbed as the Watch 2. The new smartwatch is a big departure from the original’s elegant look, and it’s apparent at first glance that the Watch 2 is aimed at more active users than people looking for a night out.

The new watch has a 1.3-inch, 390 x 390 display, 4GB of storage and a 420mAh battery which the Chinese company says is good for around two days of use. Inside the watch is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, along with Android Wear 2.0 inside. The watch comes with LTE on board so you can use it without your phone, though you can also opt for a cheaper, Bluetooth-only model if that’s more your thing.

The Watch 2 will be priced at 379 Euros (Php 20K) for the LTE model, while the Bluetooth-only model is expected to retail at 329 Euros (Php 17K).
