Improving on what worked with the XA1
While Sony’s focus on this year’s IFA is the launch of the Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ1 Compact, they also launched a new midrange model with the Xperia XA1 Plus. An upgrade to this year’s XA1, the XA1 Plus has the same specs, save for a display upgrade: The Plus has a Full HD, 5.5-inch IPS Display. With a screen bigger than the regular XA1, the XA1 Plus also has a bigger 3430mAh battery, and battery saving tech such as Sony’s Stamina mode, Qnovo Adaptive Charging technology and Battery Care to keep it power efficient.
