The Infinix HOT 60i is a Slim and Affordable Phone

Roughly 10 months after Infinix unveiled the HOT 50i as the most affordable phone with a 120hz display at Php 5,099, the brand unveiled the HOT 60i in Bangladesh and Kenya.

Like its predecessor, you’re getting a Helio G81 processor and a 6.7-inch 120hz IPS display. The HOT 60i’s display has a higher peak brightness at 700nits and support for Always-on display, but the resolution is still HD+. You get an improvement with battery and charging speeds––this time with a slightly bigger 5160mAh cell and faster 45w wired charging speeds. Infinix promises that the HOT 60i’s battery is rated for over 1800 cycles.

Infinix also improved the durability of the HOT 60i with a 1.5m drop resistance and an IP64 rating. It’s also thinner and lighter as well at 7.7m and 188 grams respectively. It has a Hard Gyro feature that Infinix claims can be used for motion control in games and as for navigation in GPS dead zones, along with UltraLink that allows calls and messaging outside of cellular coverage at up to 500m.

It comes with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB eMMC 5.1 storage, and you have a 50-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

The HOT 60i starts at BDT 14,000(~Php 6.5k) for the 6GB/128GB model. We will not be surprised if Infinix prices it lower in the Philippines, perhaps with an aggressive intro price like what it did with the Smart 10.
