Infinix Makes NOTE 50 Series Official in Indonesia

The NOTE 50 series is official in Indonesia, and Infinix starts off with the standard and Pro model. Curiously, both are LTE-only models and there’s no Pro+ in sight–at least for now. Both phones have a Helio G100 processor, a 6.78-inch 144hz AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution, and a 50-megapixel main camera.

The standard NOTE 50 has a 13-megapixel selfie camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, while the NOTE 50 Pro gets a higher resolution 32-megapixel selfie camera and adds an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera.

Both phones also have a 5200mAh battery that supports 10w MagSafe charging. The standard NOTE 50 supports 45w wired charging, while the NOTE 50 Pro supports 90w charging. Both phones also get an under-display fingerprint scanner, Android 15-based XOS15, and an IP64 rating. It’s also note worthing that both NOTE 50 phones come with a metal alloy frame–something that’s not common for Infinix.

As to why there’s no 5G variant announced, the most plausible reason is that Indonesia’s market for 5G phones is small. Expect to see 5G versions of the NOTE 50 in other countries including the Philippines.

The Infinix NOTE 50 starts at IDR 2,699,000(~Php 9.5k) for the 8GB/256GB model, while the NOTE 50 Pro starts at IDR 2,999,000(~Php 10.5k) for the same RAM/storage variant.
