It’s the fastest monitor on the planet

Forget about 240Hz monitors – ASUS has just unveiled a display that’s made for speed-hungry eSports players that has a 360Hz refresh rate, making it the fastest monitor on the planet.

The ROG Swift 360 is made for professional gaming and training, has a 24.5-inch display as well as full HD resolution with a G-Sync processor to provide a tear-free experience even with insane framerates.

The panel is provided by AU Optronics and is a full 50% faster than current market leaders in the industry. Regular gamers probably won’t need the absurdly high 360Hz refresh rate, but for professional eSports players that need that extra edge, it’s the perfect monitor for them. Nvidia is claiming flick shot improvements of up to 37 percent over a regular 60Hz monitor, which is obviously important for competitive gamers playing CS GO or Overwatch. No price or availability has been set for the ROG Swift 360 for now.
