We were in Hong Kong last week and we made it a point to drop by the Apple store (it’s a must for geeks like us to visit official Apple stores in different countries we visit, lol). We were expecting to see the official case for the iPhone 5C but we were surprised to see that there was also an official case for the iPhone 5S!

With the exterior made from high quality leather, the Apple official case is the perfect companion for the iPhone 5S. It feels fantastic to hold and feel because of the great material used for it. The interior is equally impressive with its soft microfiber that just hugs the iPhone 5S in place inside the case (it’s a very snug fit). The case comes in different colors and retails for $39 USD or roughly Php1,700-Php1,800. Here are a few photos for your appreciation:

We also ended up buying the official Apple case for the iPhone 5C. It’s not as premium as the iPhone 5S and it definitely looks kinda weird. We’re not a fan of this particular accessory and we only bought it just because we wanted to feature how weird it looked here on the site, hehe. Like what we said in the previous episodes of the podcast, it looks like the one who made it was Crocs thanks to the holes, lol. Here are a few pics:

Both cases are not yet available locally but we expect them to arrive a month or two before the official release of the iPhone 5S and 5C (which we’re assuming to be December).
