The itel A70 is set to become available in the Philippines with a limited-time 31% discount come midnight of November 7. The discount brings down the price of the A70 to just Php 2,678.

This discounted price is most likely for the base variant, which has 3GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Despite that, getting a phone with that much storage for under Php 3k is an absolute steal. Aside from a 3GB/128GB variant, there will also be a 4GB/128GB variant as well, which has an official price of Php 3,499 based on its Shopee listing.

For its price, the A70 has a 4G-ready Unisoc T603 processor, which is a modest entry-level chip. Being an ultra-budget phone, you only get a 13-megapixel main camera and a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a notch for the 8-megapixel camera. It appears to be a decent ultra-budget phone, as the A70 does have a USB-C port, an 8.6mm thin body, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The A70 even touts a dynamic bar to make good use of the area around the notch, though itel did not disclose if this feature will be available out of the box.
