As a follow-up to the P65, itel has another affordable offering with the A80, which has an official price of Php 4,199. itel positions the A80 as a budget phone that focuses on cameras with its 50-megapixel main shooter that offers better image quality over the 13-megapixel shooters that was used on previous A-series models.
Aside from the cameras, the A80 also gets an upgraded display, ditching the waterdrop notch for a trendier punch-hole, along with a 120hz touch sampling rate and 500nits of brightness for a better display experience.
Just like the P65, the A80 stands out in the under Php 5k segment by offering 128GB of storage with a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. You get 4GB RAM as well, making the A80 decent enough for multitasking with different apps. To make it punch above its weight, the A80 has a glass-like back panel with different texture patterns depending on the colorway.
Other features of the A80 include a 5000mAh battery with USB-C charging, a Unisoc T603 processor, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 8-megapixel selfie camera, and Android 14 out of the box. The itel A80 is available on Shopee.
