Kingston is introducing its new NV1 NVMe PCIe SSD today. Their newest SSD offers efficient performance on a single-sided M.2 design. The Kingston NV1 SSD has read speeds of 2,100MB/s and write speeds of 1,700MB/s and has storage capacities of up to 2TB. This enables users to experience 3x better performance of SATA-based SSDs, as it takes up less power and emits less heat without sacrificing load times.
The NV1 is more of a low-end drive compared to the A2000 NVMe SSD but offers more in terms of capacity, starting at 500MB for its smallest capacity. This SSD is marketed as an ideal entry-level drive for laptops and small form factor PCs.
