Known industry insider and tipster Evan Blass is at it again.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (or Note8, in some circles) will be officially unwrapped in three weeks, on August 23. Reliable device leakster Evan Blass, known for his Twitter handle as @evleaks, has posted an exclusive tip on VentureBeat detailing the supposed “final specifications” of the Note 8. The report comes just two days after the famed tipster uploaded images of the Note 8 on his Twitter channel.

Here’s what we can expect from the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 according to Evan.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (@evleaks Specs)

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or Samsung Exynos 8895 octa-core processor
  • Qualcomm Adreno 540 or ARM Mali-G71 MP20 graphics unit
  • 6GB of RAM
  • 6.3-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display, 2960 x 1440 resolution, 18.5:9 aspect ratio
  • 64GB of expandable storage
  • Dual 12-megapixel rear cameras, f/1.7 wide-angle lens, OIS, Dual Pixel AF + f/2.4 telephoto lens, OIS, 2x optical zoom
  • 8-megapixel front camera, f/1.7, AF
  • Fingerprint sensor, S Pen stylus, USB Type-C port, IP68 certified
  • 3300mAh battery, wireless charging

Evan Blass notes that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 units will start shipping in mid-September, with a near EUR 1000 (~Php 59.6K) price tag for the European region. According to the tipster, that figure should translate to $900 (~Php 45.2K) in North America, given the Galaxy S8 and S8+’s previous pricing schemes between regions.
