Lenovo formally brings its 2022 Legion Gen 7 line of gaming computers to the Philippines, with a starting price of Php 69,995 for the IdeaPad Gaming 3i. Lenovo Legion’s 2022 portfolio consists of the IdeaPad Gaming 3i, Legion Tower 7i, Legion 7i, Legion Slim 7i, Legion 5i, and Legion 5i Pro.

The IdeaPad Gaming 3i comes in either a 15.6-inch or 16-inch model, with both featuring a 165hz refresh rate. Configuration options include 12th-gen Core i7 or Core i5 H-series processors and either an RTX 3050Ti or RTX 3060 GPU.

Moving up the line, the Legion 5i can be configured with up to a Core i7-12700H processor and an RTX 3060 GPU–with the latter having a maximum TDP of 140w. You also get an all-new metal chassis that’s thinner and lighter than the previous generation and an updated cooling system that has a significantly bigger exhaust fan area and a more powerful fan for better thermal management.

For the display, the Legion 5i comes with a 15-inch QHD panel with a 16:9 aspect ratio, 100% sRGB coverage, and a 165hz refresh rate.

Should you need more oomph, the Legion 5i Pro can be configured with an RTX 3070Ti GPU with a maximum TDP of 150w, along with 4800mhz DDR5 RAM and up to a 1TB PCIe4 SSD. You also get a 16-inch QHD+ display with up to 240hz refresh rate, and Lenovo’s new Spectrum RGB lighting.

For the brand’s top-end line, the Legion 7i is the first gaming laptop to utilize a WQHD+ Mini LED display. You can max out its performance with up to a Core i9-12900HX processor, up to an RTX 3080Ti GPU, up to 32GB DDR5 RAM, and up to 2TB PCIe4 SSD.

Those who prefer a skinny gaming laptop can go for the Legion 7i Slim, which can be configured with up to a Core i9-12900H processor, up to an RTX 3070 GPU, up to 1TB PCIe4 SSD, and up to 24GB DDR5 RAM.

If you need a rig instead, the Legion Tower 7i can be configured with a Core i9-12900K processor and an RTX 3080Ti LHR GPU, along with up to 32GB DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB PCIe4 SSD.

The IdeaPad Gaming 3i starts at Php 69,995, while the Legion 5i and 5i Pro start at Php 89,995 and Php 119,995 respectively. The Legion Tower 7i starts at Php 159,995, while the Legion Slim 7i and Legion 7i start at Php 124,995 and Php 179,995 respectively. All models come with a copy of Office Home & Student 2021, while all gaming notebooks come with 3-year accidental damage protection and 3-year Legion Ultimate Support.
