A throwback to the Thinkpad’s early days
The Thinkpad, with its iconic boxy look and red Trackpoint, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. To commemorate the occasion, Lenovo launched a 25th Anniversary Thinkpad. Based on a Thinkpad T470, the Thinkpad 25 brings back some of its classic design elements: The RGB Thinkpad logo, the 7-row keyboard with a blue enter key, colorful status LEDs, and the bright red TrackPoint nub.
Don’t be deceived by its retro look: The Thinkpad 25 is packed with performance features, which include a 7th-Gen Intel i7 processor, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics card, 14-inch Full HD Antiglare touch display, and Windows 10 Pro with support for Windows Hello.
The price for this retro-modern piece of machinery? A hefty $1899 (~Php 97.2k). We are not sure if it will make it to our shores, but the Thinkpad 25 is available at Lenovo’s online store.
