Lenovo announces three new smartphones for the PH Market: A690, A706, and K900
Lenovo Mobile Philippines dropped a couple of big surprises last night during their National Sales Convention. First up was their debut of their newest TVC featuring their endorser, Kobe Bryant. It’s not your usual international TVC handed down to the Philippines though because at the end of the TVC Kobe actually speaks in Filipino and says “Walang Iwanan”. Lol. Yes, complete with his accent. After the Kobe TVC, they also formally introduced the three new Lenovo smartphones for Q3: the budget-friendly (but Android 2.3 Gingerbread) A690, the quad-core Jelly Bean A706, and their newest flagship the sezzy K900. There were no pricing or official launch dates announced for the A706 and K900 but they did say that we can expect the A706 in stores by May and the K900 by June-July.
Here are a few photos taken during the event. Apologies for the quality as we weren’t able to bring our DSLR.
Among the three devices, only the Lenovo A690 had its SRP announced (Php4,699). Check out the e-poster they uploaded on their Facebook Page featuring the Black Mamba himself.
The K900 definitely excited us the most and you’ll hear about that device more in a few hours when we publish our hands-on and initial impressions. They A706 is intriguing though considering it has a quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, and Android Jelly Bean.
Congratulations to Lenovo Mobile PH and Open Communications Inc. for a very successful National Sales Convention! Wishing you guys all the best! Cheers!
