How big is too big?
Lenovo has officially released their monstrous 6.8-inch Phab Plus in China the other day. This monster of a phablet sports one of the biggest displays we’ve seen on a phone, and is closer to the size of an actual tablet than a smartphone.
Lenovo Phab Plus specs
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor
- Adreno 405 GPU
- 2GB of RAM
- 6.8-inch full HD display, 1920 x 1080 resolution
- 32GB of storage
- 13-megapixel rear camera
- 5-megapixel front
- Dual-SIM
- 3G, LTE
- WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS
- 3500mAh battery
- Android 5.0 With Vibe UI
Internally the Phab Plus sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, but uses only a full HD display on its 6.8-inch screen. There’s also plenty of bezels on all the sides of the phone, which means it’ll be a difficult phone to use two handed, and virtually impossible to use with one hand. Still, there are people who prefer a big-screen experience at the expense of one-handed use, although the phone is currently a China-only device for now.
The Phab Plus is listed at RMB 2,599 or around 19K, and is only available in China.
