Meet LG’s newest flagship

LG has made their latest flagship, the G Pro 2, official over in their home country of Korea. The company’s latest smartphone has all the bells and whistles you’d expect, though we were a bit dissapointed to find out that it’ll still be running Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor, instead of the newer 805. Let’s check out the specs:

LG G Pro 2

  • 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800
  • 3GB RAM
  • Adreno 330 GPU
  • 5.9-inch IPS display, 1920 x 1080 pixels, Corning Gorilla Glass 3
  • 16/32GB storage, expandable via microSD
  • 13-megapixel camera with OIS, autofocus, 4K recording, 1080p @ 120 fps
  • 2.1-megapixel camera
  • Android KitKat 4.4
  • 3,200mAh battery

Aside from the gigantic screen, the LG G Pro 2 is capable of shooting 4K video, as well as 1080p recording at 120 FPS. The G Pro 2 also has a new feature derived from LG’s Knock On feature that was present in their older devices. The new feature, dubbed Knock Code is pretty self-explanatory you unlock your device using a series of knocks that you come up with. LG says that there’s a total of 86,367 knock combinations to choose from, so you can be as unique as you want when it comes to the code.
