Rollout kicks off in South Korea

LG is reportedly rolling out Android Pie to the G7 ThinQ, and users in South Korea are the first receipients.

Weighing around 1.4GB, the update brings in the usual Android Pie features such as gesture navigation and battery optimization features like adaptive display and adaptive battery. On top of those Android Pie features, the update adds a few LG-exclusive features such as support for dual apps and the V40 ThinQ’s Magic Photo—a feature that lets users animate a part of the image.

The update is expected to roll out in the coming weeks following a rollout in South Korea.
