Check out the specs for LG’s newest flagship
After launching their flagship phablet the G Pro 2, it makes sense that Korean company LG is preppring for the launch of the successor of the G2, aptly named G3. According to a leaked UA Profile in American telco’s Sprint website, LG’s newest flagship will Surprisingly won’t use Qualcomm’s newest processor, the Snapdragon 801, going with the older Snapdragon 800.

Looking at the specs of the device, the absence of Qualcomm’s newest processor is a bummer, though the QHD display makes up for it somewhat. We do worry if the older Snapdragon 800 can handle the higher resolution display of the G3, even with the beefy 3GB of RAM on it. Though there’s also the distinct possibility that the people filling out the website in preparation for the launch made a mistake, as the Snapdragon 801’s technically belongs to the MSM8974 family, bearing a a model number of 8974ac.
