LG is scheduled to show off their latest flagship phone, the G6, in Mobile World Congress this year, and is starting to build hype ahead of the official unveil. After announcing the new device would have a big display that has a 1440×2880 resolution, (which has an unusual 18:9 aspect ratio) the firm has released a teaser video that hints at a water-resistant body and a large battery.

LG’s apparently going back to basics with the G6, and we’re happy that water-resistance and (hopefully) all-day battery life would be the core competencies of the G6 moving forward, and not gimmicky semi-modular construction. While no solid specs of the G6 has been released as of yet, you can expect the phone to have a dual-screen camera arrangement like the V20 and the G5 before it, as well as a top-tier chipset like Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835.
