LG has officially announced a more affordable alternative to its V35 ThinQ. The newly refreshed Q8 smartphone for 2018 sports a large 6.2-inch FullVision, 18:9 display as well as a built-in stylus.

- 3,300mAh battery, Quick Charge

Powering the large phone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There’s a single 16-megapixel camera on the rear which is a departure from the dual-camera equipped phones we’ve been seeing lately.
Interestingly enough the 2018 Q8 is IP68 rated and MIL-STD 810G compliant, and should be able to take the rigors of daily life without giving up the ghost. There’s also DTS:X 3D Surround Sound and Hi-Fi Quad DAC for audiophiles.
The phone is priced in Korea at KRW539,000, which is roughly equivalent to Php 25.3K. Ouch.
